Benefits of Having an Outdoor Picnic Event this Spring
Winter is finally over, and and the warm weather is here!
Many of us have been cooped up in our homes for—at least what seems like—half of the year at this point. However, March 20th marked the first day of spring, and the snow will be giving way to blossoming flowers. Living in the northeastern part of the United States certainly has its perks. A long winter may not be one of those perks, but it is amazing to be able to watch the change of seasons each year. Although we here at Village Catering love every season, we understand that only certain months allow for parties or events to be hosted outdoors. So, this is why we would like to share some of the reasons why you might want to consider an outdoor picnic for your event this spring!
Hosting an event can be stressful. Between setting up and cleaning afterwards, your home could feel like a construction zone during a large event. However, our professionals can help handle any event. From start to finish, our team can set up and clear out the largest events in a surprisingly efficient fashion. That being said, not everyone has a home that can accommodate parties of over 100 people. However, if you have a large outdoor space or access to an outdoor area, a picnic event may be a great idea!
Picnics are great because they don’t require a ton of decorations!
Being outdoors often provides a natural décor, and thus simple things like tablecloths and balloons will be more than sufficient. Another advantage of hosting a picnic event is the ability to play games and activities that an indoor event wouldn’t allow.
