The first thing that you should realize is that your Valentine’s Day gift should not be THAT (well it can be) expensive, but it should still be something from your heart. Some of the best gifts you can give a loved one are those that are unexpected. For example, take a look at what your partner does every day, nothing can save I Love You like giving them a special gift that they can use during his or her daily routine. Also, if your boyfriend is a beer or wine connoisseur, then maybe he would love a six pack of his favorite craft beer, or an exotic bottle of wine that the two of you can share and open up on Valentine’s Day.
Another thing that you could do, and is something that is cheap and doesn’t require a huge budget (but also screams “I Love You!”), is to write love notes on small pink and red cards and hide them in places where your loved one will see them throughout the day. Places like his or her dresser drawer, a bathroom mirror, the pocket of their bathrobe, and other places such as that can make for an adorable gift and serve as plenty of Valentine’s Day surprises for your girlfriend (or boyfriend!)
